Governor declares Jan 5 EWU "Eag" Day

Gov. Jay Inslee declared Saturday, Jan. 5, will be Eastern Washington University "Eag" Day, in recognition of the Eagles playing in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision game, in Frisco, Texas. The proclamation also highlights EWU's contributions to the professional workforce and economy in the Spokane region through its commitment to student success and investments in major projects, including the new Catalyst Building, in Spokane's University District, and the Interdisciplinary Science Center, in Cheney.
