Save the date Spokane River Forum Conference - April 16-17

Tuesday, April 16, 2019

The Spokane River Forum Conference will be held April 16th and 17th at the Davenport Grand Hotel in Spokane, WA.

Registration is now open.

As with past conferences, over 250 people are expected to attend. Our tradition of offering a unique and innovative bi-state opportunity to share information, network with others and reach out to the public continues.

The theme for this year's conference is "Building Resiliency." "To secure our economic and quality of life future," said Forum board member Guy Gregory, "our communities are building resiliency with new infrastructure, policies and education. At the same time, our collaborative energies are being challenged in some areas and soaring in others."

Said Andy Dunau, the Forum's Executive Director, "Keynotes and break-out sessions will delve into a variety of ways that building resiliency is factoring into a wide range of water supply, water quality, land use, recreation and general stewardship issues.  Along the way, presenters will be looking at how variables such as population growth, climate change, extreme weather, new technologies and changes to the regulatory environment are being factored in."

The conference agenda will be complete by the end of January. But starting next week, we'll be highlighting keynotes and sessions that will give you the flavor of why we're looking forward to hosting and exciting and provocative conference.
