About CFTC

The CFTC program is part of Spokane Gives initiative. During the month of April thousands of volunteers will donate their time to bettering our community. Every year CFTC provides immediate assistance to local residents and long-term impact on neighborhoods. Previous cleanups have drawn hundreds of volunteers and resulted painted art murals, cleaned properties, removed trash, gardened and much more!

2019's Spring Cleaning from the Corridor is right around the corner! This biannual event has three main goals, building community, cleanliness and safety. These goals directly align with the Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS) motto that you don’t have to move to live in a better neighborhood!

This year’s Cleaning from the Corridor will focus on the Logan neighborhood between Mission Avenue on the south side to Illinois Avenue on the north and Hamilton Street on the west to Perry Street on the east. In addition, satellite projects outside of the project boundary are scheduled. Volunteers will be cleaning, picking up trash, painting, and creating murals. We will also be partnering with Rebuilding Together during this event, who plans to renovate up to 6 neighborhood homes on this day. For those interested in doing more labor-intensive home renovation work, please contact Rebuilding Together.

The CFTC project is part of Spokane Gives initiative. During the month of April thousands of volunteers will donate their time to bettering our community. This project is great for families, groups and individuals!
