Join us on January 16th at the Steam Plant rooftop for a conversation with Spokane natives Paul Barber and Kevin Barber. Tom Simpson will moderate a discussion with the Barber Brothers about the Private Equity + Debt markets and their respective investment criteria/focus, notable transactions and observations regarding opportunities in the Spokane region.

Paul Barber lives in San Diego and is Managing General Partner of JMI Equity, which has raised more than $4 billion of committed capital, invested in over 145 businesses and successfully completed over 95 exits. Paul has served on over 20 private, public, and nonprofit boards and is currently a director of Applied Systems, Healthx, Innovative Interfaces and Kronos.

Kevin Barber lives in Seattle and is a Managing Director with Sun Mountain Capital Private Capital. In the past ten years, he has sourced, structured and managed over $200 million in private credit and commercial loans for growth stage technology and healthcare companies. His specialty is providing highly tailored debt facilities to growth stage private companies in the technology, healthcare services and business services sectors.
