Whitworth named to Best in the West list

Whitworth University is one of the best colleges in the West, according to The Princeton Reviewâ.
The education services company lists Whitworth in the Best in the West section of its “2021 Best Colleges: Region by Region” website feature, available here.
A total of 655 colleges were selected over five regions: the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, West and International. The "Best in the West" list features 127 colleges from 15 Western states.
Schools are not ranked, but instead are rated on several categories from “Academics” to “Green.” The ratings include scores from 60 to 99 that the company tallies primarily from institutional data, although some ratings additionally factor in student survey data. Among the ratings for Whitworth: a 96 for having the most interesting professors.
In its website profile on Whitworth, The Princeton Review editors wrote of the university’s students: “They appreciate that the community places an ‘emphasis on Christianity in the classroom and among professors.’ As for those professors, one Whitworth Pirate notes ‘I really couldn’t ask for a better, more supportive group.’ Others agree, describing the faculty as ‘wonderful,’ ‘personable,’ and ‘extremely knowledgeable.’ Teachers are seemingly ‘always available for extra help’ and will ‘work independently to create meaningful relationships with students that prove to last beyond college.’”
