Small Business Grant Alert: CARES Act Funding - Sign up for an Application by Registering Online

Spokane is a safe, diverse, resilient, sustainable, and growing city known for its natural beauty, economic prosperity, and exceptional quality of life for all.

The City of Spokane has been allocated $6.6 million from the state of Washington to fund necessary responses to the impacts of COVID-19. As part of efforts to support local businesses in economic recovery, the City is partnering with LiveStories to offer the FORWARD grant program.

LiveStories is collecting inquiry information from local businesses interested in applying for grant funding. If you would like to sign up for application information when it becomes available, please register online.

Your business must meet the following criteria to qualify:

  • 10 or fewer employees
  • $500,000 or less in annual gross revenues
  • Majority-owned by a City of Spokane resident
  • Established before January 1, 2020
  • Not a licensed marijuana operation
  • Principal place of business within the city limits of Spokane
  • Certification that the business has not received any prior COVID-19 grants or loans
