"Since being elected, Council Member Burke has strived to make sure everyone in our community has a voice, not just those with power. She is a strong supporter of women, the arts, and increasing transit options, as well as ensuring equity for all people. She advocates for fair and affordable housing measures, citizens’ rights, dignity and resources for those experiencing homelessness, and efficient government to make resources and funds more effective. She supports measures that lift up the community. In order to encourage diverse voices and interests, Council Member Burke started a consultation business that finds and trains diverse leaders in how to run for office. She is invested in making change through policy and works tirelessly to make government work for the people."

The INBA’s Lunch & Learns are designed to educate and promote resources that may be beneficial to our business members and the Inland Northwest Queer community through relevant conversations with informed guest speakers.
