2022 Spokane River Cleanup Nets Tons of Trash

On a beautiful Saturday morning, 730 volunteers turned out to help clean the Spokane River. From Stateline to below downtown Spokane, over 5,500 lbs of trash was removed. The Lands Council led City of Spokane efforts with 546 volunteers collecting 3,900 lbs of litter. And the Spokane River Forum led Spokane Valley cleanup with 184 volunteers collecting 1,500 lbs of litter. Click here for photo album of the Valley cleanup.
