New President & CEO Hired at Visit Spokane

[SPOKANE, Wash.] Visit Spokane is pleased to announce Rose Noble is the new president & CEO of the region's destination marketing organization.

Before joining Visit Spokane, Rose was the president & CEO at Galena Country Tourism in Galena, Illinois. She brings a wealth of marketing experience to her role with Visit Spokane.

"Rose will be a great addition to the team," said Visit Spokane Board Chair Meg Barbieri. "Tourism is a $1.2-billion-dollar industry in Spokane County, so her understanding and experience in marketing strategies will be invaluable. She recognizes that tourism and conventions are important to Spokane's quality of life and economy." 

Rose executed the organization's strategic planning initiatives while at Galena Country Tourism. She was an active Illinois Council of Convention and Visitors Bureau member and current board member with Destinations International. She is working on her accreditation as a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME) and volunteers with various community organizations. 

"I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to move to such a beautiful place with my husband and three children," said Rose. "I'm looking forward to leading, promoting, and advocating for Visit Spokane." 

Rose begins at Visit Spokane on May 15.
