Kara is the Founding Partner at Measure Meant, a boutique consulting firm specializing in B Corp consulting, sustainability strategy, and climate action planning. Kara uses her broad professional background to help businesses and organizations of all types and sizes transform their operations and practices to better serve people and the planet. The Measure Meant team has worked with dozens of companies across the Pacific Northwest, throughout the U.S., and globally, to use their resources to improve environmental and social outcomes.
Prior to forming Measure Meant, Kara spent four years working with the City of Spokane as Manager of Sustainability Initiatives to update the City’s Sustainability Action Plan. In August of this year, Kara began teaching climate action planning at Gonzaga University with her co-instructor Dr. Brian Henning. The course is a professional certificate program offered in partnership with the Gonzaga Center for Climate, Society, and the Environment and the Gonzaga Center for Lifelong Learning.
The program will be held at the Ignite Loft on October 18th from noon to 1:00 pm and box lunches will be provided. Space is limited to first 25 registrants.
