HSSA Awards $1.8 M in Grants and is seeking new board members

HSSA awards $1.8M in grants. Health Sciences and Services Authority of Spokane County has approved grants totaling over $1.8 million for bioscience-based economic development and access to care. Biosciences grant recipients include Managed Health Connections, and Qualterra Inc., which received $500,000 and $256,900, respectively. Access-to-care grant recipients include Joya Child & Family Development and Partners With Families & Children, which received $67,500 and $55,300, respectively. 

 

The Health Sciences & Services Authority of Spokane County is looking to appoint up to five new members to its volunteer board of trustees. The board is currently comprised of three people appointed by Washington state, three appointed by Spokane County, and three appointed by the city of Spokane. The application priority review deadline is Feb. 15.
