o Details: Help us collect crayfish for mercury testing in the Spokane River. This is a fun and educational event for all ages.
2. Crayfish Collection Event- Harvard Road Boat Launch
o Date: Thursday, August 15, 2024
o Time: 4:30 PM -6:30 PM
o Location: Harvard Road Boat Launch - On the North Side of the Spokane River where it is crossed by Harvard Rd
3. Full Moon BYO-Boat Float
o Date: Monday, August 19, 2024
o Time: 8:30 PM – 10:00 PM
o Location: Mckinstry Launch at Gonzaga
o Details: Enjoy a serene paddle under the full moon. Bring your own boat and join us for a magical evening on the water.
4. River Cleanup Walk & Talk
o Date: Wednesday, august 21, 2024
o Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
o Details: Join Spokane Valley Housing & Homeless Coordinator, Eric Robison for an educational walk along the Spokane River. We will be cleaning up litter along the way and learning more about homeless outreach and the Spokane River.
5. Meet & Greet Happy Hour
o Date: Tuesday, August 27, 2024
o Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
o Location: BrickWest Brewing
o Details: Connect with fellow supporters and the Spokane Riverkeeper team over drinks and conversation.
