What an honor it has been to share in this season of giving with our long-time WSU supporter and alum Susan Stacey! Last month, we launched our end-of-year giving campaign with Susan’s incredible $50,000 challenge gift, and we have received gifts to scholarship funds in support of students from all three WSU Health Sciences colleges. I also want to take a moment to honor our fall 2024 graduates from the WSU College of Nursing. As the largest producer of BSN students in Washington, WSU is proud to congratulate over 100 new nurses in Spokane, Tri-Cities and Vancouver on their entry into the profession. These caring Coug Nurses will join thousands of others serving their communities across our state. Their dedication to their profession is inspiring – I hope you will join me in celebrating their accomplishments.
