WSU Global Campus ranked among nation’s best online degrees by US News

PULLMAN, Wash. — Five Washington State University online programs ranked among the best in the nation for 2025 by U.S. News & World Report.
WSU Global Campus ranked 17th nationally for its undergraduate degrees in the Best Online Bachelor’s Programs category, including its psychology program which ranked 9th. WSU’s online MBA program, from the Carson College of Business, ranked 33rd among the nation’s Best Online MBA Programs, and the Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture’s online graduate engineering programs ranked 39th in the Best Online Engineering Programs category.
The national news magazine released its latest rankings today.
“Global Campus programs continue to rank highly, reflecting the hard work and dedication of our staff, faculty, and students,” said Dave Cillay, WSU Global Campus chancellor. “These rankings reaffirm our status as an innovative, flexible, and impactful higher education option for students around the world. I’m incredibly proud of our Global Campus community and look forward to building on this legacy of excellence.”
The WSU programs were also named among the nation’s best for veterans. U.S. News ranks programs separately for veterans to recognize institutions that provide tailored support for those transitioning from military service. These rankings consider factors such as financial benefits, access to veteran-specific resources, and flexibility to accommodate service-related commitments.
WSU’s online bachelor’s degree programs ranked 10th in Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans, the online MBA ranked 26th in Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans, and online graduate engineering programs ranked 24th in Best Online Engineering Graduate Programs for Veterans.
WSU’s Global Campus offers 22 undergraduate and 13 graduate degrees in many disciplines, as well as numerous minors and certificates.
The online MBA is among the most popular and respected degree programs available at WSU.
“The quality, flexibility and affordability of our online MBA programs contribute to the positive social impact the Carson College strives to create,” said Debbie Compeau, dean of WSU’s Carson College of Business. “Our consistent recognition among the nation’s top 50 schools providing online graduate education reflects that our graduates are well equipped to effectively lead business in an ever-evolving world.”
WSU’s online engineering and technology management master’s degree is one of the few fully online STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs available in Washington state. Designed for engineers and technical professionals aiming to advance their careers, this unique program equips students with leadership skills to effectively manage projects, teams, organizations, and technology. WSU also offers online master’s degrees in electrical power engineering and software engineering.
