WSU Health Sciences librarian receives SRSS Certification

Ann Dyer, Director of WSU Health Sciences Library, has earned the Level I Systematic Review Services Specialization (SRSS) certificate from the Medical Library Association. Driven to support secondary research in the health sciences, this achievement exhibits Dyer’s understanding of established guidelines, best practices, ethical synthesis practices, and transparent reporting in the service of high-quality, reproducible scientific and biomedical research.
Dyer has worked for the WSU Health Sciences Library since 2021 and also serves as the library liaison to the College of Nursing. Prior to joining WSU, Dyer served as the Research and Instruction Librarian for Maine Maritime Academy, where she also earned a Master of Science in International Logistics.

She has a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University and a Bachelor’s in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound. Earning SRSS adds to her list of accomplishments and brings a new dimension to reference and research support, growing the resources on our campus for WSU researchers.
