Spokane County United Way hands out awards - UD partners Numerica and Baker Construction honored

Spokane County United Way has recognized several local companies, organizations, and individuals for their increased financial commitment and outstanding volunteerism. Premera Blue Cross has been named volunteer mobilization of the year; Chapter & Verse Inc. has won the Ignite Award; Frontier Behavioral Health has been named partner agency of the year; Bi-Mart has been named small employer of the year; Garco Construction Inc. has been named midsize employer of the year; Numerica Credit Union has been named large employer of the year; Bill Ash, of Central Valley School District, has been named campaign coordinator of the year; Brooke Baker Spink, of Baker Construction & Development Inc., has been named emerging leader of the year; Janet Schmidlkofer, of K&N Electric Motors Inc., has been named advocate of the year.
