Have you ever wondered if crowdfunding is right for your business? Join us at Startup Spokane on Wednesday April 18th for a special panel discussion all about crowdfunding. We have invited a panel of four local crowdfunding experts. Pete Taylor, the Spiceologist got his start using Kickstarter for his Spiceologist Block. In his first at crowdfunding, Pete raised over $50,000 on Kickstarter and was able to parlay that into relationships with retail outlets including Williams-Sonoma and eventually his own shop and website. He subsequently has raised more than 1 Million dollars for his own company and several other companies in the area. Cory Santiago is the founder of Bear Minimum. He has used both Kickstarter and Indiegogo to sell more than 3,000 of his unique backpacking bowls to 30 countries raising more than $100k along the way!

We will have the opportunity to hear Cory and Pete tell about their experiences along with Cory's video production and marketing team detailing their successes, their failures and lessons learned along the way.
