Greater Minds Initiative College Fair - Sept 11

The Greater Minds Initiative at Greater Spokane Incorporated is hosting a College Fair on September 11th at the Kendall Yards Welcome Center from 5:30-7pm.
Greater Minds focuses on helping working adults return to school, finish their degree or certificate. Through our regional collaboration of higher education and business community, we have set a goal to increase the proportion of residents in Spokane County with high quality certificates or degrees from 40 percent to 60 percent by 2025. Spokane County is currently at 42% attainment. We know there are not enough graduating high school students to meet our goal. Therefore, we are engaging our businesses and community partners to promote a culture of education attainment for our working adults.

Attendees will receive an overview of the Greater Minds navigational services and hear from representatives from our local higher education institutions on the opportunities to return to learning. Plus, representatives from NewBeginnings, LLC a local student loan and advocacy company will be available to answer questions.
